ḤADĪTH OF THE DAY

“ Jābir Ibn-'Abdullāh said, "Whoever prays a unit of prayer without reciting the cornerstone of the Qur'ān (1) has not prayed, unless he is praying behind the Imām." Footnote: Whoever prays a unit of prayer without reciting the cornerstone of the Qur'ān (1) has not prayed, unless he is praying behind  the imām."  Footnote (1): 1. Al-Fātiḥah: the opening chapter in the Qur'ān. ”

Sunan at-Tirmithiy كتاب الطهارة باب ما جاء أنه يبدأ بمؤخر الرأس

حَدَّثَنَا قُتَيْبَةُ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ حَدَّثَنَا بِشْرُ بْنُ الْمُفَضَّلِ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عَقِيلٍ عَنِ الرُّبَيِّعِ بِنْتِ مُعَوِّذِ بْنِ عَفْرَاءَ أَنَّ النَّبِىَّ صلى الله عليه وسلم مَسَحَ بِرَأْسِهِ مَرَّتَيْنِ بَدَأَ بِمُؤَخَّرِ رَأْسِهِ ثُمَّ بِمُقَدَّمِهِ وَبِأُذُنَيْهِ كِلْتَيْهِمَا ظُهُورِهِمَا وَبُطُونِهِمَا. قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى هَذَا حَدِيثٌ حَسَنٌ وَحَدِيثُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ زَيْدٍ أَصَحُّ مِنْ هَذَا وَأَجْوَدُ إِسْنَادًا. وَقَدْ ذَهَبَ بَعْضُ أَهْلِ الْكُوفَةِ إِلَى هَذَا الْحَدِيثِ مِنْهُمْ وَكِيعُ بْنُ الْجَرَّاحِ.
